[Chungbuk Ilbo = Eumseong] Eumseong-gun has improved parking facilities to improve the convenience of the disabled using the welfare center for the disabled.

The project to improve parking facilities at the Welfare Center for the Disabled recently received a road block (worth about 132.3 million won) from Daeil Tech Co., Ltd., a Road block manufacturer, and completed the packaging of the 435㎡ parking lot with a military budget of 10 million won.

According to the county, more than 150 disabled people use the parking lot, since the parking lot was not been paved, it caused dust, and for those who use wheelchairs or crutches suffered a great inconvenience on rainy and snowy days.

A county official said, "The welfare center for the disabled needs more careful consideration for the socially disadvantaged than anywhere else," adding, "We will continue to make active efforts to improve the convenience of the disabled."
