Korea Water Circulation Association, K-water and Healthy Water Circulation System Spread Debate

2023-04-13312

[Energy Daily Reporter Cho Nam-joon] The Korea Water Circulation Association (Chairman Ha Seung-jae) and K-water (President Park Jae-hyun) jointly held a discussion at the K-water Songsan Global Education Research Center (Songsan-myeon, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do) on the 1st and sought "technical application cases and measures to spread a sound water circulation system."

The forum was held as part of efforts by the two organizations to practice the agreement to build a "healthy urban water circulation system" signed by the Korea Water Circulation Association and K-water on December 14 last year.

At the forum, Lee Sang-jin, head of the K-water Research Institute's Water Environment R&D Demonstration Center, announced the "Status of the Water Industry Small and Medium Business Support System" and Kim Jin-kwon, deputy director of the K-water Industry Innovation Ministry, announced "Cases and Measures for Applying Water Circulation Technology."

Han Seung-jin, head of Earth Green Korea Co., Ltd., a member of the Korea Water Circulation Association, announced "a plan to realize environmental welfare through water circulation and resource circulation in the era of climate crisis," Baek Won-ok, CEO of Daeil Tech, "holblock road pavement using top foundation," and Hong Eui-jeon, a doctor, said.

In addition, Haesung Engineering Vice President Chung Eui-chul announced "carbon-neutral water management management by establishing Songsan Green City water circulation," CMI CEO Park Kyung-won said, "A solution to the climate crisis, green oasis wall greening," and Bulu Green Link director Kim Yong-kwon announced "ICT-based intelligent water circulation technology to respond to climate change and create a hydrophilic environment."

The Korea Water Circulation Association and K-water decided to cooperate in improving the city's sound water circulation system in the future and actively reflect it in the creation of Songsan Green City.

Ha Seung-jae, chairman of the Korea Water Circulation Association, said, "It is very timely and significant to hold a debate with K-water, a city water circulation institution, at a time when legislation is being promoted to improve the water circulation system."

Chairman Ha Seung-jae said, "If we build a new city in the future, we will be able to prevent urban flooding due to torrential rains," adding, "In addition, by becoming a moist city, thermal accumulation can be reduced and temperature reduction by evaporation can be achieved."

He also expected, "If a water circulation system is established through 'water reuse techniques' and 'creating a hydrophilic environment', it will reduce energy demand and contribute to carbon neutrality."

Chairman Ha said, "Even though many small and medium-sized companies have excellent water circulation technology in Korea, they are having a lot of difficulties in spreading products," adding, "If we apply water circulation techniques to large-scale Songsan Green City created by K-water, it will greatly contribute to win-win cooperation with K-water.
